Slide Show Creator

Introducing a Tool that allows you to create multimedia presentations for your math class—within minutes! Slide Show Creator, along with our content and yours, gives you power and flexibility to create online tutorials, lessons, demonstrations, and Professional Development decks very easily.

Each Slide Show Creator presentation can be shared with anyone, without requiring them to be a Media4Math+ subscriber. The Slide Show Creator tool is found in the My Content on the Menu Bar.

How Does It Work?

The Slide Show Creator environment is a PowerPoint-like slide creation tool.

You can access content from these sources:

  • Playlist: This is content from Media4Math+ that you previously added to your list of preferred content.
  • Add to Slide Show: As you search content throughout Media4Math+, you can add any resource to one of your slide shows. You cherry-pick from our thousands of resources to create your custom presentation.
  • Import Graphics: You can add your own graphics by uploading them from your computer. This can include screen grabs, clip art, publisher-provided resources, or any graphics that you decide on using in your presentation.
  • Embedded Content: You can embed content from any Web site, including YouTube, Vimeo, Slideshare, and any site that provides you with Embed codes.

Creating a Slide Show

When you’re ready to start, simply create, name, and save a new Slide Show. Add content from the My Content playlist, the My Graphics panel, or from the Insert Embedded Content. As you add new slides, they appear under My Slides.

Arrange your slides in the order you want and save your work. When you’re ready to Preview your Slide Show, press the Play button at the bottom of the screen. Keep fine-tuning the Slide Show and saving your changes. Meanwhile, on the Preview, simply do a screen refresh to see your changes reflected.

Once the Slide Show is ready to share, simply press the Share button on the Preview screen. Share this URL with students, colleagues, or anyone you want to see your presentation.
