Media4Math has just posted a new Math Solver, one that walks through the steps of converting a linear equation in Standard Form to Slope-Intercept Form. This is an important skill for students to focus on, since many word problems start out as linear equations in Standard Form that then need to be converted to Slope-Intercept Form.

This is how the Solver works. Recall that an equation in Standard Form looks like this:

*Ax* + *By* = *C*

Our Math Solver takes values for* A, B,* and *C* as inputs.

After inputting the values for* A, B,* and *C*, press Solve. A detailed solution is shown.

Use our Math Solvers to produce worked-out examples that use your inputs. Students can use them to check homework. They can also be used for developing Tutorials.
